“Hooked” on Bulldogs....

WHEN I COUNT MY BLESSINGS I COUNT MY BULLDOGS TWICE

ABOUT US

Back in the early 1970's during  my university days I had read a Reader’s Digest article about a bulldog.  I was so intrigued by the article and how they portrayed this dog that I made up my mind right then and there that I had to learn more about this fantastic breed.

I spent many years reading about the breed, and taking every opportunity I could to talk to bulldog owners.  I never stopped dreaming of the day when I would own my very own bulldog.  I have to thank Kandie Kroonen of Iroc Bulldogs for allowing me to opportunity to adopt the most wonderful of dogs.    I bought my first bulldog on New Years Eve, 1998.  What a great way to start out a new year. That article I read, so many years ago, turned out to be so very very true.

I was introduced to the dog show world through a friend at work.  It took him close to ten years to convince me into showing, but I eventually did it.  I  take every opportunity I can to attend the local shows and to promote the Bulldog.   Once I get started, it is hard to stop me.

We are a very small home based kennel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  Our dogs are our pets first and show dogs second.  They live in the house with us along with our rescue dog, Ozzie.  The dogs occasionally are known to be allowed up on the couch and at bed time come up for snuggles before heading down to their kennels for the night.

What a Wonderful World!
