2011Eighth Annual Bulldog Picnic(Let's Celebrate "The Return Of The Jets" Picnic)We had a great turn out again this year. I didn't get an "offical" count, but I would guess that we had at least 50+ bulldogs out to help celebrate the return of the Jets.I want to thank those people that got into the spirit of things and wore their jerseys and some even had their dogs dressed for the occassion. That is just super. We even had a handmade Jets collar and custom made Bulldog Jerseys on some of the dogs. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We were even able to have the 3rd Running of the Lightburn Derby. Poor old Ariel wasn't going to get talked into running anywhere. As soon as she spotted some shade along the side lines she was headed for cover. What a hoot! Thanks again to Royal Canin and Adam York Photography for adding to our picnic experience. I hope everyone went home with a sample of food and the give aways. A big thank you goes out to Brody and Crystal for helping me out this year with lugging stuff out to the site, for taking care of my dogs while I was out visiting with everyone and for taking pictures so I have something to post on the site. I'm hoping to get the pictures posted in the next couple of weeks. I have over 300 pictures to choose from. I've tried t get representative pictures of everyone, but I'm not sure I've done a very good job. I hope you enjoy them just the same. Please remember to spread the word about the picnic to any bulldogger that you might come across in your travels throughout the city. I'm counting on you to make next year's picnic even bigger. Let's see if we can break our attendance record of a few years ago. And remember..... When you are counting your blessings, count your bulldogs twice. Lee
